How do I log my hours worked?

You should receive an email from Delta the Friday night or Saturday morning after you start work explaining how to log into the online work log and log your hours. Your recruiter can also help walk you through this process.

I am having issues logging my hours online, what’s wrong?

There could be a couple of things happening if this occurs.
• If you are using an iPad/smart phone/tablet; log out and use a desktop/laptop.
• Make sure you are under the correct week in the online work log.
• Make sure you have filled out all fields necessary before submitting.

When I log into the online work log, it says I am not scheduled to work. What do I do?

There are times you may be required to use the facilities work log instead of the online system. Please refer to your first day instructions and contact your recruiter.

When will I receive First Day Instructions?

The Wednesday before your start date you will receive an email from your recruiter with the First Day Instructions attached in a PDF format. We always recommend you save a copy of these for your personal records.

What all is included in the First Day Instructions?

• Facility information (contact information and address)
• Reporting Instructions
• Dress Code
• Schedule
• Emergency Contact Information
• Area information, including: weather info, local banks, grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, etc.
• Online work log website

What do I do if Delta is providing housing?

Address, contact information, and move-in instructions for the lodging will be provided on the First Day Instructions.

What if I encounter a problem or issue the weekend prior to starting work?

We advise to always attempt to contact your recruiter initially. If you are unable to reach them, contact numbers for the marketer of the facility, Vice President of Recruiting, and support services on call line, are provided on the First Day Instructions.

What does Delta pay for?

Delta pays for your drug screen, DMV record check, and a 7 year Criminal Background Check searched by county with a social security number trace.

What credentials are required for employment?

What is required can vary depending on whether the facility has additional requirements outside of our Credential Checklist.The items Delta requires to have on file are determined by Joint Commission and the government. These are listed below:
• Certification of Notarization Document
• Copy of acceptable documents from list on I-9 (List A or List B or List C)
• Copy of CPR BLS-clear copy of the front and signed back of the card
• TB skin test within the past year
• Hepatitis B Declination/3 vaccinations/1 titer
• Copy of voided check or official bank document
• Copy of Auto Insurance (if applicable)
• Delta HR documentation

What else could be required outside of Delta’s Credential Checklist?

• State Specific Background Checks

Does Delta reimburse me for my license?

Reimbursement for licensure is typical, but not guaranteed. This is a conversation you must have with your recruiter. The expenses need to be accounted for and listed on your Assignment Detail Letter. You will need to save and submit to Delta any receipts in order to be reimbursed the amount agreed upon.

Does Delta pay for me to renew my license while on assignment?

If you know your license will expire while on assignment, let your recruiter know before that assignment starts. Any reimbursement given is on a case by case basis and must be listed on your Assignment Detail Letter.

Will I be reimbursed for the travel expenses I incur while getting to a new assignment?

Travel allowance is paid based on the distance from your current location to your new assignment and is part of the overall compensation package per assignment and will be listed on your Assignment Detail Letter.

Will Delta pay for the CEU’s I want to take?

If you know of a course you want to take, contact your recruiter about help with reimbursement. Any reimbursement given is on a case by case basis. Delta provides $50 annually for CEU’s. Contact your recruiter for any reimbursement above this.

When do my benefits go into effect?

Your benefits become effective the first day of the month after the first day worked.

When do my benefits end?

Your benefits end the last day of the month after the last day worked.

When do I get my benefits cards?

Temporary ID cards will be emailed to you by the third of the month. Your permanent ID cards will come through USPS mail to Delta and will then be mailed to your preferred mailing address. Please allow 7 to 10 days for this mailing process.

I have vision benefits elected but no card. What do I do?

Please let your doctor’s office know you are under Superior Insurance and they can look up your benefits with your social security and date of birth.

I’m still working with Delta but I received a letter in the mail from Blue Cross saying my benefits have been terminated. Do I have benefits still?

If you are a current traveler with Delta and have received this notice you probably have switched facilities however you still have benefits through Blue Cross Blue Shield. Please contact your recruiter if you are still experiencing issues at your doctor or pharmacy.

What is teledoc?

Teladoc provides 24/7/365 access to a national network of US board-certified doctors who can resolve many of your medical issues via phone or online video consultations. Teladoc doctors can diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication, when necessary, for non-emergency medical issues.

How do I use teledoc?

Follow the steps below to set up your Teladoc account.
1. Go to www.Teladoc.com and click Set up account
2. Enter your legal first name, last name, date of birth and the company code. The company code is: HAYS100A.
3. Complete all required fields on the Account Set Up Page. Under Login Information you may keep your generated username/member ID or you may change it now.
4. After you read the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, signify your acceptance by entering your eSignature and then click Submit.
5. Complete your Medical History Disclosure (MHD).
6. Upon completion of steps 1-5, you may request a consultation by clicking Request a Consult link via your online account or by calling 1-855-847-3627.

When am I eligible for 401(k)?

You are eligible after 1,000 hours worked.

How will I know I am eligible? How do I enroll?

You will receive an email the first week of the month you become eligible with the enrollment forms attached. You will need to complete these forms and send them back to Delta’s Human Resource department. If you do not return the enrollment forms, Delta will automatically enroll you at 3%.

When will the deductions start?

Your deductions will begin the first of the month after you send back your enrollment forms.

Can I cancel my enrollment?

Yes, you will need to let your recruiter know so you can be sent the cancellation forms to complete.

Does Delta offer matching?

No, Delta does not offer matching.

If my assignment starts on a Monday, when can I move in to my housing? What if my assignment starts on a different day?

You may move in to your housing two days prior to your assignment start date. If your assignment begins on a Monday, you may move in the Saturday before. If your assignment begins on a different day, your housing will be ready two days before your start date.

After my assignment ends, when will I move out of my housing?

Your move out date will be scheduled for two days after your last day worked. If your last day worked is Friday, your move out will be Sunday.

My cable/internet is not connecting, who do I contact to have this fixed?

Your cable and internet have been arranged through Delta Healthcare Providers. Please contact your recruiter with any issues and we will contact the cable/internet provider to make certain the problem is fixed.

I have a maintenance emergency. Who do I contact regarding this?

Please refer to your 1st day instructions for maintenance contact info for your rental property. Please contact your recruiter and he or she will reach out to the leasing office/landlord to resolve the issue.

Delta will be providing housing for my upcoming assignment. I will be taking a week off during this assignment. What happens to my housing?

Your housing will be maintained by Delta during your break. For time off within an assignment, the cost of your housing will be payroll deducted. Please speak with your recruiter for any time taken off.

I will be traveling with my spouse and our children, and will need a larger unit. Will Delta make arrangements for this, and will I be responsible for anything?

Delta will make arrangements for any additional furnishings, housewares, or amenities that are required if you will be bringing anyone with you, or would like an upgraded floor plan. Any costs for additional occupants, upgraded amenities, or larger floor plans will be payroll deducted over three paychecks after you have approved of the charges.

Garages and covered parking are available through the apartment complex I am being housed in. How can I arrange to have a garage or covered parking space?

Please notify your recruiter if you would like a covered parking space or garage. The additional fee for this will be payroll deducted each month.

How do I request upgraded cable/internet service?

Delta can upgrade your cable/internet through the service provider, and will notify you of any additional charges for this service. After you have approved these services and charges, Delta will upgrade your service and will payroll deduct the additional fees.

I would like to bring my pet with me on assignment. Will there be a fee for this?

Delta encourages you to bring your pet on assignment. If there is a pet deposit and/or pet rent, Delta will pay the necessary fees and deposits up front and will payroll deduct these amounts over your first three paychecks.

May I bring more than one pet with me on assignment?

Yes, you may bring more than one pet on assignment with you. Any additional deposits or fees will be paid by Delta up front and will be payroll deducted over your first three paychecks.

Are there any pet restrictions?

If your pet weighs more than 20 lbs. please notify your recruiter if you would like to bring them on assignment. Many leasing agents have weight restrictions in place, and knowing as much as possible when contacting them will allow us to negotiate for your pet.

I have heard that my pet may be on a restricted breed list. How can I find out if my pet will be able to come with me on assignment?

Please notify your recruiter of your pet’s breed and Delta will search for housing that will accommodate your pet. A list of commonly restricted breeds is listed below:
